For Your Consideration: Campaign Video Awards -- Best Actor

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

There's not much of a difference between actors and politicians, as many pompous asses have pointed out. So we want you, the Academy, to help acknowledge the actors in this presidential campaign.

The nominees for Best Actor in a Presidential Campaign are:

Mitt Romney, for "Who Let the Dogs Out"

Governor Romney gives a "gritty," "real," "edgy," "urban," "street," "jiggy," "hip hop," "Ludacris," "basketball," "Compton," "DJ Jazzy Jeff" performance in this appearance at a Jacksonville Martin Luther King Day celebration.

John McCain, for "Putin, of the German Putins"

McCain makes a tour de force turn at this rally as a mental patient who can't keep his Germans straight.

Dennis Kucinich, for "16 Tons"

Sure, he's America's sweetheart. But did you know he could sing?!

Mike Gravel, for "Rock"

This understated performance by the former Alaska senator has been hailed by critics as "minimalist," "wait, why is he still staring at us," "Oh my God. Is Mike Gravel dead," and, "Oh, no. I guess not. He just threw something in a lake."

Rudy Giuliani, for "Pretending to Love"

See Rudy take a phone call from his wife mid-speech. Ha ha! Isn't he casual? See Rudy remark, bitterly, that his wife's ability to keep track of him prevents him from getting his philander on. Ha ha! Love.
