Louis Farrakhan - To Denounce or Reject?
After talking about health care, NAFTA, and other yawners for most of tonight's debate, the candidates finally got down to the real question: Is Barack Obama anti-semitic?
This charge was largely brought about because Lous Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam has endorsed Obama.
Barack Obama went on to denounce the anti-semitic statements and actions of Farrakhan, but he failed to reject Farrakhan's endorsement, which Hillary Clinton was all to eager to point out.
So which is it, fellow indeciders? Is it more important to have a candidate who denounces or rejects Louis Farrakhan?

Wake up America -- and re-read the Four Freedoms. As a diplomat, I've served in countries which have severely limited the ability to openly express opinions contrary to the ruling establishment. Mr. Obama offers such hope to restore and rebuild our credibility, both domestically and internationally, after years of failed policy and a broken spirit. Think carefully on Tuesday and ask yourself if we truly want to recycle old news and old ways of doing business in Washington; or, if, yes, we want to pledge ourselves to a new beginning, perhaps somewhat untest, but reminiscent of the American spirit of hope, determine, honesty and transparency that we share and believe in. Yes we can.

You don't get it. Farrakhan lives in Kenwood. IL like Obama. Obama's church gave Farrakhan the lifetime acheivement award, and that wackaloon pastor Wright has been friends with Farrakhan for at least 15 years that WE know of.
I'm glad Hillary had second thoughts after six hours.

There's the REAL doublt standard you speak of: Black man can be buddies with the #1 white hating, jew hating, gay hating, anti-american that we know of, and it's all good. Obama can go to that INSANELY racist and separatist church and it's chill with everyone....

Obama was just denouncing Farrakhan's words and endorsement.
Hillary talked about REJECTING association from these types of people (I assume that inclues people who support Farrakhan, like Wright--the loony pastor, and Trinity church member Oprah, the white women's greedy backstabber).
Leave it to brain dead America to make light of it for your Holy Obama.
McCain NEITHER denounces nor rejects his pastor, who called the Catholic Church "the Great Whore".

I hope people DO SEE the difference between denouncing (or condemning) a person's support and out right rejecting (or refusing/not accepting) a person's support. As there are clear differences between the two words� AND NO HILLARY CLINTON DOES NOT NEED A DICTIONARY AS MUCH AS BARACK OBAMA NEEDS TO TAKE A CLEAR OUTRIGHT STAND ON REJECTING THE SUPPORT FROM THIS EXTREMELY DENOUNCEABLE INDIVIDUAL!!!!
See it's one thing to denounce (condemn) a man's support (i.e., neither rejecting, accepting or refusing it, just saying it's evil) and there is anothering thing about REJECTING (denying the acceptance of;refusing that support). And while people think Hillary is grabbing at straws� I want a president who will out right refuse reject and not accept this without taking the political safe road by accepting everyone's support. This is the kind of heroism that Barak lacks. He even admitted he should have stood up and taken a different position but did nothing. That's Barak the do nothing change as usual president! I for one think it's time to give an intelligent woman who is a smart and very articulate diplomat� someone who will be able to function and not say yea what she said.

What's up with the DOUBLE STANDARD? Obama HAS to reject AND denounce Farrakhan IMMEDIATELY on national television, but Hillary laughs and supports her RACIST supporter ON AIR, then 6 hours later, has second thoughts. John McCain KNEW Bill Cunningham's reputation;he apologized AFTER the audience left. DOUBLE STANDARD!!!

I hear that in light of last night's debate, Harvard will no longer be rejecting applicants, since they don't want them to feel they are being Farrakhan-ed. They were considering denouncements - but were worried that the average high school senior might be like the debate moderators - apparently unaware of the meaning of the word 'denounce'.
