Alan Keyes Strikes a Chord with American Americans

Enough with all this high-fallutin' political jibber-jabber from big time politicians like Alan Keyes. It makes my head spin. I'd like to hear from a real, down-home unsung American patriot...

About a month ago, Valerie Loewer, 50, of Lumberton made a decision about the 2008 presidential election.

"Every year I have to vote for one of the two at the top," the Lumberton resident said. "I am not doing it any more."

With that, she signed an online pledge to enlist support for the presidential bid of Alan Keyes, the conservative she first saw on a C-Span debate in 2000.

Whoa! Good call, Mrs. Loewer. Looks like somebody's ready to pick up the Keyes to her brand new sense of American pride.
