  2. Michelle: Why did you call America mean and only recently decided you liked it?
I truly think you should feel honored to have the opportunity to even think that you should be a first lady.
I know that I love this country and would support Hillary if Obama wan't the nominee. You even not wanting to do that has turned off many people in my community completely.

  3. Rick from NJ,

Why don't you ask why Mark Penn, a dear, dear friend of the Clintons, is on Clinton's campaign and was not fired even after he made deals with Columbian govt. to ship U.S. jobs overseas. Why is Penn still on Clinton payroll, and has been for years, even though Penn is affiliated with Blackwater (one of the most vicious group of mercenaries)? Why don't you ask why Bill Clinton has made $15 million from deals with Dubai and Saudi Arabia?--and are still friends with these people who REALLy are destroying the U.S.

I rather have someone criticize the U.S. while devoting an entire lifetime SERVING it (Wright), rather than silent and secretive scumbags, who appear to serve this country, while in reality are actually selling it out.

  6. I am a 52 year old white woman. And let me tell you - I AM bitter.
Bitter about this God awful war - bitter about our economy - bitter that we have no health care for 50 million of our citizens - bitter that seniors have to decide whether to eat, or take their medication - bitter that citizen's of our country stood on their roof tops screaming for help after Katrina, and Bush did a fly over - bitter that Dumya has destroyed our country's image around the world. And BITTER that Hillary Clinton will NOT stop - will destroy the Democratic party if she has to, win at all costs.

But I have found Barack Obama - and with this man - our nation can begin on the long path to healing. I trust this man. That is rare in the political arena today.

Michelle - I will be watching.

  7. About Sen. Obama's bitter comment: I just read on Huffington Post that FRESHMAN Sen. Clinton was heckled after she brought up the point again. Hopefully Pennsylvanians are smarter than Ohio peeps, and know when they are being spun a web of lies.

I like that how the Clintons make themselves out to be reps of the "people," while they make 100+ million, donate 10 million to their OWN "charity," and make secret deals with Columbia (via Mark Penn) to ship U.S. jobs overseas. H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S.

BTW, I don't have cable ('cause I am seriously poor), so please, is anyone willing to stream the interview the night of the interview??? Like on YouTube or sumptin'?

(jon stewart is a has-been, who spends more time laughing at his own jokes than present anything worthwhile. He's a pathetic loser -- like his candidate of choice).

  8. Why doesn't Obama leave his pastor and not continue to support him like an "uncle". The man is rude and nasty about whites, Senator Clinton and the American people.

What more does the pastor and his church have to do before Obama leaves this church. Is Obama kidding?
For Obama to continue to support and not disassociate from his church would be like Senator Clinton supporting a KKK member and then saying that he was like an "old uncle". Then worse yet, have a white speech throwing a black under the bus.

It didn't make sence. It still doesn't make sence and will never make sence.

Secondly, did he ever bring his children to this church and what did they learn?

  9. Yes!!! Thank you, Colbert, for having Michelle Obama on your show. Unlike idiot-Jon-Stewart's ridiculously and mind-bogglingly myopic ass-kiss-fest of the Clinton campaign coverage, you have been doing what a true satirist does: Present the truthiness in all forms.

Please have Sen. Obama on your show the night before the Penn. primaries. On second thoughts, don't, because that will show what having class is about, something Jon Stewart needs to learn about.

  10. The Sweet Possibility of an Obama Presidency

Yeah, under George Bush we've had to take a bitter pill...and it's not surprising we do whatever it takes to dilute the bitter taste in our mouths.

Yeah, we cling to guns (to feel safe),

    to religion (to experience hope),

to suspicion of people not like us (to manage our fears),

to anti-immigrant sentiment (to eliminate future assaults on our livelihoods),

to anti-trade sentiment (to protect the little we have left).

All the while the dispensers of the bitter pill, a government that disregards us and shapes policies in favor of special interests goes unchecked.

Barack Obama offers working families real hope and no more bitter pills. Finally we will be represented in Washington...and his inauguration days will be the sweetest day of our lives. Obama's got our backs.
