POSTED BY: TheInDecider

After you're done writing off your last pointed tip bolo knife purchase (whoever said being a Laotian hitman would come back to bite you at tax time?) be sure to catch Michelle Obama's tax night (April 15) appearance on The Colbert Report -- part of "The Colbert Report: Doritos Spicy Sweet Pennsylvania Primary Coverage From Chili-Delphia - The City of Brotherly Crunch!"

  1. Hillary really needs to tighten up. Her brown pant suits, or the bright yellow waitress smocks with black polyester cannot spell winner. I just can't see it. Like Jackie O, Michelle is Chanel... Hillary is Lane Bryant.

  3. The interview was ok... I would've liked to hear what she wanted to do once she becomes first lady (in roughly 276.9 days, but whos counting?).

We'll finally have a FLILF in the White House!

  4. If there is any hope for America to come out of this mess Bush has made it rest with only one of the three, Barack Obama is the future and hopefully the American people will realize this before it's too late.

I think if they try (they being the Clinton people) try to steal the nomination away from Obama they will lose even more respect than they have already lost in their shameful display thus far in the race for the Democratic nomination. I wouldn't back "sniper fire" Clinton if you paid me! I use to actually respect the Clintons.. Maybe they changed? Or maybe we just never had a chance to see their true colors before now. All I know is if by some miracle Hillary steals the nomination, America will be stuck for another 8 years with the Republicans. So many won't vote for her. Mostly everyone I talk to in fact.

  5. What a wonderful interview! I commend Stephen Colbert for being his usual strong self and at the same time allowing Michelle to be her usual strong self.

Country, this will be good for all of us. I am so proud to be an American. And I'm proud of the quality t.v. we have access to.

  6. I'm writing in response to Michael who ask if Michele Obama exposed her children to anti-americanism. Take your head out the sand Michael all of our kids have been exposed to it ever since the rest of the world found out we went to war on a lie. there were no wmd,s. And where exactly has Hillary been all this time. she voted to authorize this war. she goes out and tells people that the rich have had a president for the last seven years and now it's time for the rest of us to have a president. the rest of us, isn't that pretty elitest and on top of that during those 7 years her and her husband made millions of dollars. so she's done very well under the current administration, no wonder she has a tendency to side with John McCain can't shake up the party that made her rich.

  7. Absolutely if Hillary Clinton wins the nomination Senator Obama would campaign for her. It is surprising that anyone would think otherwise. He follows the rules and has since the beginning. The more appropriate question would be do we even begin to believe that Hillary Clinton would do the same considering that he has won more states, more delegates and has initially tied up the election?

It will be interesting to see what both candidate's supporters will do when one or the other is declared.

It would do us all well to remember that FIRST we are Americans. Second we are Democrats/Republican/Independent, etc... and finally we are supporters of one candidate or another.

How will we ever heal with all this in-fighting? Or is that not a consideration anymore?

  8. Do you and Obama consider yourselves to be true Democrats?

If Obama does not win, will Obama go to college campuses and campaign for Hillary Clinton to become the next Democratic President?

  9. I love Michelle!

Stephen, ask her about whether she would be part of her husband's cabinet. Meaning would she be kind of like Hillary who took over health care? Although, with more success, of course... Or is she not interested in that stuff?
