BREAKING: Barack Obama and John Edwards to Join Hillary Clinton on The Colbert Report TONIGHT

TheInDecider has just learned that following his wife's appearance on Tuesday night, Barack Obama himself will be making an appearance on tonight's Colbert Report. As previously announced, Hillary Clinton will also be appearing on the show, which marks his final night on the road in Philadelphia.
Sources also say that former candidate John Edwards will be making a special appearance tonight. Is he trying to resuscitate his campaign via the Colbert Bump?
Tune in tonight at 11:30 to watch the sparks fly in Pennsylvania, and check back here tonight to let us know how you think the candidates (and former candidate) performed.

TO SOV- If you compare First Ladies, imo Hill comes out on top in regard to applicable experience. She is educated as a lawyer, not a librarian. She involved herself more in policy making (healthcare reform, for example)...even though she was unable to get anything done with it due in part to the Republican controlled Congress. I can't say it means she has the MOST experience but it definitely puts her over Laura.
Governors tend to claim more experience because the governor position is modeled after the president. They contend that running a state is somewhat comparable to running the country in that they have already been occupying an "executive branch" position.
If you compare Congressional experience, Hill has more than Obama. The rub is that she has claimed 35 years of experience which encompasses how long she and her husband have been involved in politics. You can take that for what you will. Some think it's ridiculous, some think it's valid, and I'm somewhere in the middle. I know a lot about my husband's job. I know about the office politics, how he gets things done, and who his problem employees are. Does that mean I could walk in and take over for him? No. But I feel I would have a leg up over someone off the street.
I'm sure someone will take my head off for this post because I haven't said Hillary is evil incarnate. To be honest, I am undecided myself. I don't fully believe the positive hype about Obama or the negative hype about Hillary. This is just my view on the questions you posed.
Undecided voter needs help. I have a problem. I don't understand the claims that Obama has no experienced when that's voiced by Clinton's supports. Not that I disagree, but I'm trying to make up my mind here, and I'm terribly confused on how Bill Clinton or George Bush for that matter, having just being Governors during their public life, had any better experienced compared to Obama? I'm not going to vote for McCain, but in my modest opinion, he's the only one candidate that can claim experience. Hillary has eight years of experience in the Senate; Obama four. Hillary has several years of experience as a first lady true, but I failed to understand how being a first lady qualifies anyone to be President. If Laura Bush were in the race, could she claim experience too? She too had 8 years in the White House and many years prior to that as first lady of Texas. Sorry, someone help me, please. I can't vote Republic, but this experience is just not apparent in any of these two candidates.
If it could get worse than BUSH it would be Obama!!! Lets see NO experience, loves people who hate the USA...Loves people who hate White People, and thinks all of us who go to church, like to hunt and maybe do not associate with people we don't like are all Bitter and clinging to GUNS!!! Can't wait for HIM and HIS Bitter wife to start making decisions for US...CAN YOU??? Somebody once said do you believe the people of the US are capable of voting for a good President. And it is getting more clear they ARE NOT! Because those who are fainting over Obama are clearly those left over from JIM JONES...what not enough cool aid to go around. I keep hearing the words what didn't you like about the 90's the PEACE or the PROSPERITY????? Either way, if YOU get YOUR way we will ALL end up with McCain..and although he is old as dirt and probably will not be able to FIND the White House by the Fall...He does not hate the Country and wil not be inviting Wright, Farrakhan, Retzco, Moss, and all the others at Trinity to dinner at the White House.
Someone tell Hillary that her theme song should be "Fake It" by Seether!
Who's to know if your soul will fade at all
The one you sold to fool the world
You lost your self-esteem along the way"
Obama/Rendell 08 !
Colbert is a national treasure ! Amazing show !
Hillary could fix more than screen....
if she would just admit that it is nearly statistically impossible for her to win the election, and even if by some far off chance she manages to drag it out all the way to the convention, and by an even longer stretch manage to close the gap slose enough where the superdelegates will be the difference makers, I very seriously doubt that the superdelegates whom already pledged to vote for Obama will change their minds because HRC managed to woo them them. And the amount of unpledged superdelegates left are almost definately not going to be the difference makers in this election. SO the olny possible way she could win, is if the superdelegates decided as a whole to disenfranchise and alienate the majority holder of delegates, and the popular vote, and the candidate that has generated the most campaign funds, just becuase HRC thinks going to Banquet dinners abroad qaulifies her for being a foriegn affairs afficionado.
In short: OBAMA 08!!!
Obama got the bump..but Edwards was great too..too bad he is not in the race.
I was totally surprised to see John Edwards and the EdWORDs segment was brilliant as was John. Darn, he's still my favorite candidate - Loved this segment and still wish I was going to be voting for John. But, Obama is the one for the future, for now. John Edwards is still young enough to come back again.
