BREAKING: Barack Obama and John Edwards to Join Hillary Clinton on The Colbert Report TONIGHT

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

TheInDecider has just learned that following his wife's appearance on Tuesday night, Barack Obama himself will be making an appearance on tonight's Colbert Report.  As previously announced, Hillary Clinton will also be appearing on the show, which marks his final night on the road in Philadelphia.

Sources also say that former candidate John Edwards will be making a special appearance tonight.  Is he trying to resuscitate  his campaign via the Colbert Bump?

Tune in tonight at 11:30 to watch the sparks fly in Pennsylvania, and check back here tonight to let us know how you think the candidates (and former candidate) performed.

  1. Mr. Colbert...my hat's off to you, friend.

Never before has a fake news show on a cable network been the epicenter of the epicenter of American Politics. But you have done it. It is clear that now you hold power rivaled only by God himself (you have already upstaged the pope).

All I can say is that if Hunter S. Thompson would have seen this circus comming he may have held off on pulling that trigger for ust a few more years.

  2. "Duh. Stephen is a Congregationalist and so is Barack. I know Stephen has taught (is teaching?) Sunday school. Would Barack put his children in Stephen’s class?"

Umm...clearly, you missed the memo that Stephen is Catholic. Someone didn't do their research.

  3. Barack can be very funny. You just have to know your cultural references to pick up on his elitist, out of touch with mainstream Americans, looking down his nose at us with Jay-Z, Annie Oakley and duck-blind jokes, kind of humor.

He rocked the house in Raleigh today with a little "go and brush your shoulders off" move. I suspect that people who think he's stiff just haven't seen him in the proper setting - or maybe they're just old, old, old. Haha. Old people. They're old.

  4. John Edwards was fantastic - too bad the press gave him the shaft and promoted the two so-called Rock Stars that we're stuck with. Once again, the Dems are going to lose.

Hillary was a good sport about the whole thing.

Obama sounded just like the boring loser he's going to be in November -what a total twit.

  5. what makes you think that obama is elitist considering his past? perhaps you should stop reading off of the "suggested talking points" on clinton and mccain's leaflets.

  7. Devoted Democrat, but won't vote to Obama! He's nothing but a hypocrite and his followers are hecklers who don't respect the process.

Guess what, can't heckle your way out of Iraq or out of economic depression.

Fools want a movie star, not a politician. Obviously Hillary is smarter, better looking and more capable. But all of those people out there who are the bullies of the school yard like to pounce on her because the jack-ass media allows it. Pathetic morons. Americans deserve the president they choose.

Progressive liberal morons forget that this is a Democratic primary, and in the general election the lapel pins, hate speech, etc. WILL matter. So, dumb-ass democrats, do what you always do....FAIL. Dumb ass morons. We have the perfect opportunity with Hillary, but the fuck head "progressives"...Rachel Maddow, Ed Fucking Shultz, pedophile Olberaman, sexually frustrated Fineman, Short Man Alter, Lesbo queen Maddow...wait, I already mentioned her sorry ass. All you dumb assholes are fucking it up for us again.

Mean while, here I am, a mother of three struggling to make ends meet while the ELITE progressive live so far up Obama's ass that they only focus their ill-thought out "analysis" on Hillary. OBAMA-God never gets scrutinized.

I am so glad Hillary keeps decking him on the issues that are going to come up. Too bad the dems are destined to loose again. These dumb asses with no self esteem or self identity (names mentioned above) CLING to Obama-Worship because they are intimidated by someone with the resolve of Hillary.

Jack asses...it's like you are creating the Nader effect. Hope my kids don't read the "bad" words I've used.

Then again...with the way our kids are being taught in school now....wait that's a real issue, let me get back to talking about Hillary's millions, or Bill's wandering penis. Afterall, that is what really counts, isn't it. Who the fuck cares about home grown terrorists on Obama's "friendly" side? Who the fuck cares. This lifelong democrat is abstaining!

  8. Your show sure evinced some top notch class when Clinton came on--and then Edwards to boot! Did you have to ruin the effect by ending with one of the slickest salesman to ever hit the podium? Or do you belong to that cult, too? Stop drooling, Stephen: without an audience, he'll act just as elitist with you as he did with Edwards.
