BREAKING: Barack Obama and John Edwards to Join Hillary Clinton on The Colbert Report TONIGHT

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

TheInDecider has just learned that following his wife's appearance on Tuesday night, Barack Obama himself will be making an appearance on tonight's Colbert Report.  As previously announced, Hillary Clinton will also be appearing on the show, which marks his final night on the road in Philadelphia.

Sources also say that former candidate John Edwards will be making a special appearance tonight.  Is he trying to resuscitate  his campaign via the Colbert Bump?

Tune in tonight at 11:30 to watch the sparks fly in Pennsylvania, and check back here tonight to let us know how you think the candidates (and former candidate) performed.

  2. Obama looked so stupid. He seriously has nothing of substance to say.

    Clinton gets the bump.

  3. Mary Ann wow, after what happened the other night on ABC, which is supposed to be a neutral media outlet, YOU complain about abuse on Comedy Central. If this is the intelligence level of the remaining Hillary supporters, than can we just get this over with Democrats.

  4. As a volunteer and someone committed to nominating the best person for the most important job in the world I am outraged that you chose to make fun of one candidate, and promote the least qualified candidate who has ever run for the highest office in the land. He is GWB with a vocabulary. I rarely miss the show, but it will be a long time before I watch it again! Too bad Edwards had to be part of this disgusting display of media abuse. My only hope is that since Hillary and Edwards where at the studio they met up and decided to join forces to stop this ridiculous bandwagon of unrealistic fools who will lead the democrats to defeat in November!

  5. Who was most "bump-worthy"?

Of the guests tonight - on a scale of 1 to 10:

Senator Clinton: 4 - the "problem solving" skit wasn't that refined - but was a nice set up for later. Can't believe they got her to talk about "3 am" (total time - less than 2 minutes)

Rep Patrick Murphy: 7 - he was on task, on message, and just plain on. Though I have a problem with his speech pattern - I've seen him around the talk shows and he is a rising star in the Democratic Party. (I didn't check the time)

Senator Edwards: 9 - the "ED-WØRDS" segment was drop-dead funny. It was good to see him in this light and really willing to be self-deprecating and gave him the ability to talk issues while still having a good time. (about 5 minutes)

Senator Obama: 7 - Should have been a 8 - but he was via satellite. Good segment - went straight to the point with putting distractions on notice. Played to his strengths and had fun with "bears". (a little under 3 minutes)

  9. it amuses me that abstinence will try to talk about "moron" liberals and their attack on Hilary, but doesn't seem to realize that his whole argument contains a plethora of insults. See the whole point of persuasion is to not look like a hypocrite. Otherwise it just doesn't work. Try again
