Hillary Clinton's Quantum Math Skills

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

According to a reality-bending memo from the Clinton campaign called "More People Have Voted For Hillary Than Any Other Candidate*," Hillary Clinton is now leading the popular vote...

"After last night's decisive victory in Pennsylvania, more people have voted for Hillary than any other candidate, including Sen. Obama," wrote spokesperson Phil Singer.

"Estimates vary slightly, but according to Real Clear Politics, Hillary has received 15,095,663 votes to Sen. Obama's 14,973,720, a margin of more than 120,000 votes. ABC News reported this morning that 'Clinton has pulled ahead of Obama' in the popular vote. This count includes certified vote totals in Florida and Michigan."

Very interesting take on the numbers. You know what else is interesting? If you count all the votes I gave myself these past few months, I'm beating both of them.

But I'm still trailing behind the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in plaid delegates.

  2. Hillary do not get it, if she cannot addd, she do not qualify for president, she gets it wrong, she is to old, go home to Harlem, she forget, or tell devious lies, and some of us believe it, than we holler when it bites us on the butt.
Like all Bush Republican, it's hurting alll of us, we all drive cars, we all need money, we all pay tax, we all suffer in one way or another, young men or women being killed in war, it's touches every body, trillions being paid for war, Hillary and McCain signed for, their children is here not fighting.
Hillary want to clean the white house up, that is so unfair, signing for war, now wants to clean it up, Hillary lives are being loss, that's one of Hillary's tactic, to prove she can be president. Shame, shame
SHAME ON HILLARY LIVES ARE BEING LOSS

DENOUNCE HILLARY AT THE POLL, LET HILLARY KNOW LIVES ARE BEING LOSS, TELL HILLARY TO STOP THE JOKES WITH KIDS LIVES

  3. >>Daily Show: Indecision 2008 - Clinton's Primary Message

I found Jon Stewarts take on Clinton's message to be extremely slanted towards the one candidate. It tries highlight comments made by Senator Clinton with regards to the DNC process and delegates.

The problems relates to the how most people think the popular vote should count. Well if that were true we would have remove a very large number of delegates from Senator Obama's delegate count.

Take Texas, Senator clinton won the popular vote yet Obama made up delegates using caucuses. So Senator Obama is guilty of using the very system to subvert a popular vote result.

His campaign also benefits heavily from not including Michigan and Florida in any result counts. So, are we a nation of 50 states or 48?
This hypocritical approach by "The agent of change" and his campaign do very little to impress me.

Believe it or not those 2 states do get to vote in the fall and will count despite anybody else wishes and no caucues will be available to use as a method of subverting a popular vote.

Senator Obama needs to have his feet put a little closer to the fire and have the pillow taken away. It was his own decision to have his name removed from the ballot in Michigan. We need to hold him accountable for his own actions and not coddle him.

So, Jon Stewart, the DNC process may be flawed, but don't try sell me the sad story of of how only one candidate is trying to manipulate the numbers.

and anyone actually interested in real numbers and not speculation

  4. She has abandoned the state of reason! It has no superdelegates anyway. She only worries about big states, like Denial.

I've never even seen fundementalist pastors make an attack of this magnitude on science, well Ok, mathematics.

Hillary: "We march on to victory!"
Aide: "But sir, you know what the gypsy said about Waterloo!"
Hillary: "Fine, so they're tough, schedual an extra campaign stop!"

  5. They forgot to add in the votes Obama got in Florida when they added "Florida" votes. OOPS. That's enough to put him ahead again.

  6. deb rose, clearly you have not thought about this too much. If you have a math test and a science test tommorrow, and your teacher tells you the math test will not, nay, can not count for anything, you dont waste your time studying for both tests... well, because the candidates knew these two states were not going to count, they, obama specifically, did not campaign there, HIS NAME WAS NOT EVEN ON THE MICHIGAN BALLOT, so what if after all this, you teacher tells you the tests will count, thats not very fair now is it?? Crazy as the democratic party process is, it is what is, and Obama leads Hillary Clinton by 500,000 legit votes

  7. Using the NY Times numbers, Hillary already HAS gotten more votes than Obama if you count FL & MI. If you don't, she is only 0.6% behind!

Frankly, I REALLY don't understand why the voters in FL & MI are being punished for a decision made by party leaders in those states. Penalize those who made the decision, not the voters. They can strip those who made the decision of their superdelegate status or their role in the DNC, but the voters shouldn’t be disenfranchised. I hear so many people saying that the superdelegates negate the will of the people. But what about the nearly 1.2 MILLION voters in FL & MI that voted for Hillary whose votes are being ignored??? That is equivalent to the number of votes Obama got in AK, CO, CT, DC, DE, HI, IA, ID, KS, ME, MN, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OK, RI, UT, VI, VT, & WY combined!!!! Imagine the uproar if Hillary suggested not counting all those votes because of a technicality?

So if more people actually voted for Hillary & more superdelegates are expected to vote for her, why are so many people saying she should drop out because she can't possibly win????

  9. Erm, not only are they factoring in the votes from Michigan and Florida, they are _excluding_ the votes from 4 caucus states.

    Feh.
