John McCain on The Daily Show This Wednesday

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

This just in!

John McCain will make his thirteenth -- thirteenth! -- appearance on The Daily Show this Wednesday, May 7. That's more Daily Show appearances than any other guest in the history of ever!

What is the deal with John McCain and Jon Stewart. Why don't they just get married and have a politically confused baby already? Huh?

Obviously, we'll have clips from the show up here first thing Thursday morning. Until then, here's a clip of McCain from his last appearance back in August...

What do you think Jon should ask the man who just might become the oldest white Christian man ever elected president?

  1. Is it my imagination, or when Barack Obama clinched the Democratic nomination did you get shorter and pastier?

  2. Why pay $100,000/year for the same employee who should be working at the pay-rate of a US soldier.

I would think that since a large percentage Blackwater employees who are former US military, they should be the first to be recalled.... and Blackwater founder, MR. Prince should be recall to active US Military duty.

This will be interesting to follow - I wonder if there are any US laws regarding working for foreign military.

  3. Dear Sen. McCain:

Why would you expect anyone to vote for you when you don't understand even the fundamentals of economics; support a President who gets rid of the whistle blowing Iraqi(Chalabi) and keep the corrupt al Maliki, while blowing off entirely Pres. Talabani; are out touch with mainstream America; have no solutions to getting jobs back from overseas?
Expecting ignorant people to vote for you? Because thinking people won't.

  6. Bush said he'd sign a ban on assault weapons. But McCain opposes the assault weapons ban!
    and of course
"the issue of economics is something that I’ve never really understood as well as I should"

  7. although not being american i am still following the race closely, and have great interest in a good out come of these elections.
it is crucial for the world, that america has a good leader, since not only does the economy but the world stability largely depend on the US.
Being originally from Iran i also have a great interest in the future of US/IRan relations.
Sen. McCain sang a song at the beginning of his campaign "bomb bomb bomb iran". I found this very offending and not at all professional from a man wanting to be the next president, and in an mature age as Sen. McCain.
First being a fan of Clinton since CLinton = good economy for me, i am becoming tired of Obama Clinton, and actually think Sen McCain does make a good candidate. Only one thing left for me to know...how does Sen.McCain reflect back on singing such a song, is he ready to be more mature about such serious topics as the middle east, or does he think he is Crusading against Evil?
For its not a matter of religion that a Persident should persuite, but a matter of reason. Will anyone ever see that the problem are not Evil fundamentalists, but the lack of true support and education in these countries (asides iran, there the young people only need to be supported to gain democracy, education is well established there)
Anyway, I want to know if Sen McCain is ready to think mature about serious Economic and Cultural Problems facing the US or if he wants to play a clown singing "bomb bomb bomb iran!"

  9. Has Mike huckabee lost his mind, or did he never have any sense at all? Are you still considering him as a running mate after he made a joke about Barack Obama having a gun pointed at him?
