John McCain on The Daily Show This Wednesday
This just in!
John McCain will make his thirteenth -- thirteenth! -- appearance on The Daily Show this Wednesday, May 7. That's more Daily Show appearances than any other guest in the history of ever!
What is the deal with John McCain and Jon Stewart. Why don't they just get married and have a politically confused baby already? Huh?
Obviously, we'll have clips from the show up here first thing Thursday morning. Until then, here's a clip of McCain from his last appearance back in August...
What do you think Jon should ask the man who just might become the oldest white Christian man ever elected president?

1. You referred to Reverend Rod Parsley - a man who said that "America was founded, in part, with the intention of destroying this false (Islamic) religion" - as your "spiritual guide."
Do you also believe that America's mission is to destroy Islam? And if not, why haven't you denounced Rev. Parsley?
2. Pastor John Hagee stated on September 18, 2006 that Hurricane Katrina was "an act of God, meant to punish New Orleans for a level of sin that was offensive to God." This past February, you shared a stage with Pastor Hagee, stating that you were "very proud" to have his endorsement.
Do you believe that Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for New Orleans' sinful ways? If not, why haven't you denounced Pastor Hagee?
3. Your outbursts of anger are legendary. For example, you dropped the F-bomb on fellow GOP colleagues John Conyn and Chuck Grassley. You once got in a fist fight with fellow Arizona Republican Rick Renzi. And you allegedly publically used a crude term in public - the "C" word - in reference to your own wife.
Which, if any of these episodes is untrue? And don't these and many other public displays of your uncontrollable tempo indicate that you are too dangerously unstable to be President of the United States?
3. On several occasions you erroneously confused friend and foe by describing Sunni Al Queda as being backed by Shiite Iran.
Doesn't this blatant display of your complete lack of understanding about the basic facts of America's security interests in the Middle East disqualify you to be Commander-in-Chief?
4. In 2000, you called Jerry Falwell an "agent of intolerance." In 2006, you embraced Falwell when you gave the commencement address at Liberty University. And when Tim Russert asked you if you still considered Falwell an "agent of intolerance," you said "no, I don't."
Doesn't this make you a total flip-flopping opportunist who is cynically pandering to the Religious Right in order to further your own presidential ambitions"?
There are lots more relevant questions that could be asked that would demonstrate what a lying, opportunistic, pandering rage-aholic McCain really is - but that's enough for now.
Of course, if Jon asks even one of these, then a), McCain will never come back on the show, and b). Jon will wind up with some missing teeth, or worse.
Senator,
You have said that the surge should have involved more troops. You have often complained that the US did not send a large enough force in the beginning. Are you setting the stage for a draft?
ask him what his sign is.
Senator,
Who is your top choice for V.P? Let's be honest, a V.P is chosen now a days to balance a ticket. Does Huckabee stand a chance? If so, does that mean that Stephen Colbert can be the undersecretary to the V.P. because he made Huckabee?
Are you down with space exploration or what dawg?
Senator,
In 2000 you said we needed change and you opposed George W Bush. Eight years later you want consistency with the policies of President Bush. Tell me, which Senator McCain was wrong, the one in 2000 or the one tonight?
If elected president, is there any chance you would resurrect your attempts to push through campaign finance reform? Somebody has to chase the money changers out of the temple of democracy... are you the guy for the job?
Senator,
Is there a chance that anyone from the White House staff of George W Bush will be on your White House staff?
Senator,
Is it true that Jon Stewart is your publicity chairman? After all, he keeps giving you all this free air time.
Senator,
It has been documented that you sought out the endorsement of John Hagee. You say you wanted his endorsement but don’t agree with his inflammatory “hate” statements. Does this mean you would also have accepted the endorsements of Adolph Hitler and David Duke? They had large followings and your logic would allow you to ignore their callings for genocide.
