John McCain on The Daily Show This Wednesday

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

This just in!

John McCain will make his thirteenth -- thirteenth! -- appearance on The Daily Show this Wednesday, May 7. That's more Daily Show appearances than any other guest in the history of ever!

What is the deal with John McCain and Jon Stewart. Why don't they just get married and have a politically confused baby already? Huh?

Obviously, we'll have clips from the show up here first thing Thursday morning. Until then, here's a clip of McCain from his last appearance back in August...

What do you think Jon should ask the man who just might become the oldest white Christian man ever elected president?

  1. I double-dog dare you to hold a debate between Mr. McCain and Dr. Ron Paul. Then kiss your ass good-bye, and the corporate elite will hunt you down for exposing the Emporer's nakedness. But hey, I can dream.........

  2. The author of the post below kissing McCain's ass just demonstrate's how our fake media (and I don't mean Comedy Central-I mean ABC, CBS, FauxNoise, etc) has managed to convince people that a far right wing corporate sound piece war mongering economically illiterate ahole like John McCain is our 'best leader'. No Eric-it is you that is confused. McCain is just another arrogant clueless cookie cutter right wing desuch bag. But you know what? If you can't see that by now....you ain't never gonna see it.

  4. A lot of the comments here sound like they were posted by ignorant children. There's a lot of good reasons to like McCain.

The inarticulate nonsensical hate filled responses on this page only serve to highlight the fact that more sensible and intelligent people are aware of the fact that John McCain is our best candidate for a responsible and strong leader in 2008. I only hope that the majority of voters this fall are able to think for themselves, rather than fall into the trap of listening to the mindless loud mouths that are attempting to paint all the candidates with the same brush rather than looking at their positions, plans, and the facts.

  5. I was appalled by Jon Stewart tonight. It's is getting harder to watch his odd disassociation between McCain's candidacy and the Republican outrages illuminated and mocked every night on his show.
BFF or not, McCain is the unimpressive Republican response to everything Stewart has been griping about for seven years. There is a difference between the congenial high road Stewart sometimes takes, and the irresponsible, child-like fawning we saw tonight.
I agree with the prior post: Countdown with Keith Olbermann offers the same fiery critiques of Bush without the inexplicable John McCain lovefest. Keith is rather bombastic and delivers with less cleverness than Stewart, but he makes up for it with journalistic vigor and articulate, impactful rants.

  6. Two questions Jon should have asked:

    1. How can al Qaeda be "the enemy" in Iraq, when they have killed fewer than 10% of our troops there? If they aren't the enemy, then who is? Could it be the people of Iraq, almost all of whom oppose our occupation?

    2. You favor us staying in Iraq, even tho Iraqis want us out so badly that over 60% of them favor the attacks killing our troops. Is there some higher percentage of Iraqis in favor of killing our troops that would change your mind, or would still favor us staying even if every last Iraqi wanted to kill our troops?

  7. Pretty dull interview, but these comments are hysterical. I hate Stewart because he slobbers over Obama, while his people are ready to tar and feather him because he ISN'T A REAL JOURNALIST.

  8. Ok ex Stewart Fans. If you are getting ill from his obvious pandering and pus**y as** kissing of these Right Wing lunatics say goodbye to his show and move over to Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Olbermann not only has more balls but his show is also funnier and more entertaining than Stewart's endless right wing unfunny as*s kissing. F U Stewart you over-rated unfunny AHOLE.

  10. I can't believe that you did not challenge McCain on his reference to Obama being mentioned by Hamas as their favorite candidate. What kind of nonsense and pandering to the fundamentalist Christian right wing are you fostering by not taking him to task about that statement? You let him completely off the hook. Are you afraid of him and his right wing cronies? That seems to be a pattern of your show of late. Please respond. Which I doubt you will.
