John McCain on The Daily Show

Don't forget to tune in to The Daily Show tonight to see John McCain's historic 13th appearance on the show.
Or do forget. What do I care? It's your business.
UPDATE: What I've learned from this interview so far -
- He's not sure what his Secret Service code name is, but thinks it's "Jerk."
- If he were to wear a propaganda t-shirt, it would have to be glow in the dark.
- John McCain has an excellent sense of comedic timing.
- McCain's out of context "100 years"quote was taken out of context.
- Politics is dissimilar to to bean bag.
- Dwight Schrute? WTF?
Many thanks to Sgt. Pepper Politics for live blogging McCain's appearance in the comments below. And many thanks to him for not linking to his own blog in every comment.

Let's see, between Stewart and Colbert I've seen Obama, Clinton, and McCain. Very funny, ha ha, good for laffs, yes, what, are you guys afraid of lil ol' Ron Paul? The OTHER republican candidate? Why shucks, I remember time was, Stephen had him on the Colbert Repore, but it's a little late in the game for that. I guess. Or is it too early?
But never mind all that .. "come on you people, pick one of these three eggheads, they gots senses of humors and stuff." ;-)
Seriouslly, though, you guys are disappointing me. Enough with the circus clowns already. How about some Reason?
Its interesting how the liberal mind accepts Obama not really knowing
much about him. His performance in the Senate certainly hasn't been
one to admire since most votes were responded to with Present and no commitment. Twenty years of Black Liberation Theology (based
on Marxism) certainly scares me. Get real people and study the
background of this man before its too late.
My Dearest Jon,
Let me consider who I DON'T want in the White House. And please invite them back for an Interview. You're doing a wonderful job Sweetie. And this bid for campaign of President for your Fan Club is going very well. I think my only real competition is Harmony and I heard she was going to do something real special for Stephen's Birthday. I heard that she has a Cam or something.
Well, so far I hate all of 'em. Politicians= liars.
So, I suppose I'll vote for the person I don't know is lying... That rules out Billary, McCain, and Barack.
That leaves Nader, ewww.
Hell no I would not vote for mcbush! Look at the shape we are in from the fiscally conservative; " ha, that's a laugh or at least itwould be if it were not so bad". the best times that i remember are when clinton was president. And we have a chance to get that back but yet we going to support someone that has listened and subjucted his kids to listeneing to hate speach? What in the world is going on with peoples intelligence? I can say anything you want; "change "?I am saying that i am going to give it to you; do you believe me. Who am I really? My point exactly! The reason republicans fear Clinton is they know she will change everything, and they do not want that.
McCain's a panderer, as always. Maverick, my ass. Opportunist is more like it.
Very cute for an old guy, and at least yields a more substantial interview than (shudder) John Kerry's in 2004. However, you could definitely see him dancing around the issues. I had thought about voting for him initially, but have since concluded that I disagree with most of his stances of most issues. That said, I wasn't going to vote for him before and he certainly didn't convince me to vote for him now, but I'll be happy to watch him on the Daily Show again, after he (fingers crossed) loses.
How about Dr.Allan Keyes as a running mate what a match
Used Jon to drop Hamas bomb. I hope Jon learnt something.
John McCain comes off as a really nice person and I'm sure he is. There's no doubt that all the candidates are nice people. I respect the fact that he came on the show for the 13th time (unlucky?) and found him to be pretty entertaining. But that doesn't mean I would ever vote for him, I don't like what he stands for, but I don't think he's a bad person.
