John McCain on The Daily Show

Don't forget to tune in to The Daily Show tonight to see John McCain's historic 13th appearance on the show.
Or do forget. What do I care? It's your business.
UPDATE: What I've learned from this interview so far -
- He's not sure what his Secret Service code name is, but thinks it's "Jerk."
- If he were to wear a propaganda t-shirt, it would have to be glow in the dark.
- John McCain has an excellent sense of comedic timing.
- McCain's out of context "100 years"quote was taken out of context.
- Politics is dissimilar to to bean bag.
- Dwight Schrute? WTF?
Many thanks to Sgt. Pepper Politics for live blogging McCain's appearance in the comments below. And many thanks to him for not linking to his own blog in every comment.

Please have Dr Ron Paul on your show! I too, would love to see a debate between Paul and McCain.
To Greg, author of the comment below: It is also well-documented that Ron Paul's voting record consists of consistently voting Against legislation promoting racism. When asked about some of the questionable groups of people donating to his campaign, Ron Paul stated that donations to his campaign lessen the amount of money they have to put into hate campaigns. Ron Paul is Definitely Not a racist....ask one of his many black supporters and check his voting record if you don't believe me.
You guys are big on links as sources, so here's just one of mine chock full o' damning evidence:

After mccain's refusal to throw Bush under the bus:
I took The Bush-McCain Challenge—a fun online quiz to see if you can tell the difference between George W. Bush and John McCain. Check it out, and see if you can do any better than I did!

P.S. After you finish 10 questions, there's a hilarious "Carrot Round" that you definitely don't want to miss.
By 21st century problems, do you mean corporations running amok over your government, squandering your wealth, and massing fortunes off the backs of innocent people? That's basically fascism and it's getting REAL old. A return to constitutional principles is the only thing that will save America. Are you one of those world-government (communist) types, Greg?
Id love to see Dr. Paul on the show, he has some great ideas, and is always an interesting person to hear speak.
You may also want to ignore the post from Greg on the "well documented" connections that Paul has to some nasty people. Obviously Greg has some issues with keeping up to date on the news and fact checking since those allegations were put to rest sevral months ago, most notable by comments from the Head of the NAACP in Texas confirming that he knows Ron Paul personally and that the man is not and never was a racist. Im glad that Greg still has his "18th century" freedom of speech in the 21st century....making dumb comments and being stupid will never grow old Greg...lucky for you, huh? ;)
Greg, your tired smears have been debunked over and over again. Maybe you should concentrate on the big issues (and only Ron Paul talks about them) instead of smearing this honorable man
Dont try to associatie Paul with nazis and white-supremacist. If we are going to count stuff like that then Obama is in agreement with his pastor and he told his delegates to call texas police and make a false claim that they are little kids being raped in polygamist houses
18th century problems are the same problems we face in the 21st. So if it worked then, itll work now. We were the greatest country for how long using those 18th century problems?!?! Yea like forever. Now look at us trying to use 21st century solutions and we arnt getting anywhere but down deeper. Technology may change but the problems and solutions life brings never do.
Watch out Jon, the Paulestinians have arrived.
If you have Paul on the show, you may want to ask about his well-documented connections to neo-nazi and white-supremacist groups as a conversation started before getting into his 18th century solutions to 21st century problems.
Hey Jon! I am so glad that Dr. Paul has been on McCain's mind lately. Wouldn't it be great to have Dr. Paul back on your show? Why not host a sit down discussion between McCain and Dr. Paul?
