Mike Gravel Just Wants Someone (Like Obama Girl) to Love Him
In his latest video opus, Democratic Libertarian wingnut Mike Gravel does three things no white-haired man should ever do: he tries to rap, he tries to do the Soulja Boy dance and he tries to get the nubile young Obama Girl to make out with him.
Needless to say, he fails on all counts. But give the ol' coot points for effort, okay? When's the last time someone made you a heart-shaped balloon sculpture?
MC Gravel-a-Hellacopter may not be ready for a record deal, but I think he's stepping up his game.

Gravel is a nice guy who speaks the truth, what is so crazy about that except in the eyes of many they see liars as winners and cool, meanwhile honest forthright people are seen as weak. MLK would have been Gravels ally and Gravel is really Obamas ally because OBama can not make any real change unless he turns to solutions that Gravel proposes. Gravel is a renaissance man and unlike the founding fathers he has real solutions for afro americans as well as caucasian americans who need healthcare, prison and drug reform, and education reform, this is real meat not fluff like all the others.
Take Gravel seriously obviously Obama girl has and she is like a joan of arc of sorts, there is some sense there.
@mad maggie - You are SO wrong. That is NOT his only claim to fame. You should read more. He also: 1) read the pentagon papers into the public record at risk of being arrested so that the public would know we were lied to to go into Vietnam (sound familiar?); 2) He was a key reason the Alaska Pipeline was built, 20% of our oil supply today; 3) He was behind nearly every piece of environmental legislation in the 70's; 4) He was instrumental in getting nuclear testing stopped in the Pacific; 5) He has military background - yet you call him unpatriotic? Huh?
And, the rest of you? You have no sense of humor.

Gravel's only claim to fame: He filibustered the draft to get it revoked. In my opinion, one of the most unpatriotic events in this country's history(in contention with the Iraq War)! Doesn't he know that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?

I enjoyed that a hell of a lot more than the 5 minutes of stink eye followed by trowing a rock in the lake commercial. Hell, if he had done this video three months ago, he might have a delegate by now.
