The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: You Probably Don't Understand the Iraq War
Former Bush Administration Under Secretary of Defense Douglas Feith was on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart tonight to set the record straight on the Iraq war. Apparently we were not mislead misled into war. I believe him. Unless he's misleading me now...
Anyway, Jon started summer early by firing up the grill and sticking Feith on it. Listen to the defense of a man who was in the room when all the planning went down and decide if it flips your script.

Isn't it amazing how many times anagrams tell the truth?
After marriage between same-sex couples was endorsed by the judiciary, despite a clear majority of the electorate disagreeing, an anagram of "California Supreme Court" anagrams to: "Role: American fruits' coup!"
What on earth can this mean? I think we should be told...
Is there anything that I don't know??? I had to learn the HARD WAY.........ohhh and thank you President Bush for explaining......(that bastard)...
It's so refreshing to see an interview that lasts more than 1 minute and is not a bunch of clips and soundbites that are strung together. It gives a wonderful opportunity to hear everything in context. I've read that a higher percentage of people in my demographic get their daily news from TDS and the CR than from network news - this interview is an excellent example of why that's true.
A GPS is only good for a Reality check;where am I, where am I going. Unfortunately the most action that McCain has seen these recent days has been on this Blog with a bunch of sexually frustrated Bloggers that can't get any.
"U probably don't understand the Iraq war" Unfortunately, the people that decided to invade Iraq didn't understand it either. Now America & our troops are paying the consequences. No wonder Fieth is a FORMER undersecretary. He couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag. Probably needs a GPS to find his way home. How many of those books did he sell? Besides the one his mother bought?
How about inviting Scott Glenn to discuss his role as Rumsfeld in the upcoming film "W". It has been 5 years since this W&M alumnus has been in the show.
He could comment on his previous movies dealing with political issues and war situations and be concise and witty while doing it.
Plus his fans would love it!!!
Sugar, remember this is a Comedy Show. Jon was not being racist. Sarcasm is his middle name, Dear. So be a Sweetie and calm down.
Its always funny until they're making fun of you.
Where were you people to whine when he made jokes about...well, ANY of the southern states.
As an individual born, raised, and college educated in West Virginia, I was very offended by tonight's portrayal of my state. I'm not attempting to deny the presence of racists in WV, but such people can be found in every state including those in which Obama won. It was a cheap attempt at humor to play on stereotypes that people like myself have worked hard to overcome.
I've been a fan of The Daily Show for years and I was very disappointed tonight.
And by the way, I voted for Obama.
Jon~yeah real funny one about the Irish tonight. Hope O'Leary kicks your Jew ass tomorrow because we all know you Jews are known for your athletic prowess!!
