Chris Matthews: "Right-Wing Talking D-Bag, Here is Your Ass... Please Enjoy"

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

With all this talk of Barack Obama wanting to "appease" our enemies, as UK Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain did prior to WWII, it leads to a very simple question: Was does "appeasement" even mean?

Think you know what it means. If you do, you're one up on right-wing radio talk show host Kevin James...

About halfway through this interview from Hardball is when things start getting really uncomfortable/funny/hilarious.

It's nice to see Chris Matthews actually acting like a journalist instead of a Chris Matthews.

  2. The ultimate irony is that these NeoCon bobble-heads don't see their own love of Papa Adolf in their tactics. They go for the jugular of an "enemy" that they have stereotyped, exaggerated, and demonized. "Liberals?" Educated, not all good Christians, think war is bad, sometimes artistic . . . you know, sorta like Jews.

  3. it's typical of republican commentators. tucker carlson is notorious for this too. they are absolutely impossible arrogant egomaniacs whose actually education and intellectual ability is pretty minimal. they just don't know it. a democrat would NEVER talk out of his ass if he really didn't know what he was talking about. but republicans do it all day. they just don't care. they figure they can con you into thinking they're actually intelligent and learned.

  4. That is the greatest thing I've ever seen! Seeing anyone in the media point out any of the bald-faced rhetorical bullshit that pundits spew forth day after day brought a tear to my eye.

  5. I guess James' strategy is to not to know what he is talking about, but to talk louder then his opponents... a very common strategy among political talk show hosts. apparently

  6. I think Matthews let up too soon. After James admitted not knowing what Chamberlain did he should have pressed him to define appeasement. James is just a parrot with no original thought.

  7. I can't fathom how anyone could feel bad for that idiot.
Or feel bad about anything in that video. Idiots getting their due doesn't happen enough in this world.

  8. If nutters in the right-wing, to include McLame and Dubya, object strongly, then Obama is certainly doing the right thing. He should do the exact opposite from those who so grossly mismanaged everything they touched.

  9. first of all, can the moderator get rid of this zachary spam man? dont feel bad for that idiot, if hes going to go on live tv, and talk about how a is equal to b as c is equal to d, he might have thought to learn what a is first. I was impressed by chris matthews here, although i cant help but think he knew this guy wouldnt know and had him on just to ridicule him, which is still okay!!

  10. What was Mathews expecting? One thing I’ve learned over the years: you can’t expect Americans to know American history let alone European history.
