Mitt Romney Named John McCain's Veep by Karl Rove
Karl Rove -- who, for some reason, keeps on getting to give his wizened opinion despite it being consistently less than wise -- thinks that John McCain could do a lot worse than pick the personality-disabled Mitt Romney as his running mate...
"Romney is already vetted by the media, strong executive experience both in business and in government, has an interesting story to tell with saving the U.S. Olympics, and also helps McCain deal with the economy, because he can speak with the economy with a fluency that McCain doesn't have," Rove told "Fox News Sunday."
Mitt Romney can speak with the economy?! That's amazing!
Actually, now that I think about it, it kinda makes sense. It's probably like the way that R2-D2 can plug his little probe into any machine or computer in the galaxy and talk it into doing whatever Luke Skywalker asks him to do.
If that's the case, then McCain would be an idiot not to name him as his running mate.
But Rove, a FOX News analyst, added that Romney is not without flaws. "He's been a little uneven in his performance," Rove said.
Yeah, that's true, but you can't really blame that on Romney. That's more his programmer's fault. He probably just needs an update on his operating system.

Rove is himself a closet Mormon. Nobody talks about it, but Rove graduated from a Mormon owned high school in Salt Lake City, and then attended the University of Utah. It's no wonder he likes Romney and Utah. He grew up there. These Mormon-Utah-types are sneaky. They're kinda everywhere, you just never know it.
That's the pot calling the kettle black-"Romney is not without flaws." Great spin on the major flip-flopping, the millions of bucks from lobbyists for everything from oil to pharmaceutical mega-corporations. I'm surprised you, Karl, the Germanic fink, didn't sign on to McCain's team. He'd have used you until all your Bush administration crap surfaced again-oh wait-it's still floating along!
I think that Rove is definitely right! Mitt is our best bet for a stronger nation. I hope that McCain picks Romney just as Karl Rove has stated.

The United States is taking a head-on smashing: a gasping economy, no-end-in-sight fuel debacle, massive mortgage crisis, bleeding red budget deficit, prolific public debt to China and Japan, titanic trade deficits, U.S. assets cheapened by our devalued dollar, pork-barrel / wasteful spending, pending Social Security implosion, and gaping open-gate borders. To top it off, we prostrate ourselves at the sandaled feet of kings and tyrants - who hate our guts - for the life-blood of our nation – OIL.
We’re in this QUAGMIRE and going nowhere fast because politicians haven’t done anything for the last 30 years. You and I are paying for Washington gridlock and incompetency. THESE GUYS/GALS DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING – ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE.
We need Mitt Romney on the ticket with McCain. He’s an INNOVATIVE, RESULTS-DRIVEN, PROVEN, PRIVATE SECTOR OUTSIDER that will change the conundrum of “old Washingtonian” thinking and bring TRUE CHANGE for our country. He’s proven it! The good ol’ boys and a few good ol’ gals in Washington are AFRAID that Romney will unearth their incompetency and upset their cushy lives.
Who cares if you think Romney is R2D2? Only Americans with Election Attention Deficit Disorder and addictions to political sound-bytes would make that deduction. It’s an erroneous characterization of Mitt. America’s grim problems won’t be solved by electing a Movie Star or Preacher! ROMNEY is the only hope we have this go-round to pull the collective Washington heads out of their butts!

Aw, Rove doesn't know what he's talking about (is that so new?). It is a known fact with insiders that McCain wants an older running mate that America will trust, and therefore is asking Wilford Brimley to be his running mate.
