The Daily Show Indecision Retrospective: Barack Obama, John McCain and the Latino Vote

Barack Obama and John McCain have both been aggressively courting the Latino vote, which is no wonder, when you consider Mo Rocca's Nostradamus-like prediction that, if the percentage of Latino voters continues to grow at the rate it was growing at in 2000, they will constitute 160% of the voting population by 2016.

Without Latinos willing to be exploited in backbreaking work, or caring for your yard, children, streets, medians, cutting your meat and willing to work for your lousy tips, where would this country be? You would be unable to have $$ left over from your home equity or credit card lines of credit. Without your lines of credit, you could not prop up the economy so that unregulated friends of Bush can profitably sell more people like you lines of credit before the crash they know they are creating. Yes, we'd have a total economic collapse! At least those old enough to have pensions and social security will still receive earnest, compassionate care by exploited Latinos, which will be our only economic activity.

    A years ago, the top economists in the world attended a conference by the top publication 'The Economist'. They all agreed that the fastest way to fix world poverty, terrorism, and their tyrannical breeding grounds would be for all first world nations to let anyone from a third world nation get a working visa for a first world nation for at least 2 years and no longer than 5. They would return to their countries with expectations and entreprenurial skills so much higher that all would advance. The host countries would no longer have to worry about breeding an underclass that stays but cannot work. Winners all around.
    Without the new American citizens that illegal immigrants are making, we will become like Italy or Japan, a nation where the few of working age have to pay more than half their salaries to support you and the other useless Americans.
    My personal opinion is that we should force all immigrants to take English classes, and update the books currently used to phonics (like we did for whole language English books for our kids 15 years ago). Immigrants who are not leariing will be given access to a computer phonics course. Those who are still not learning get kicked out sooner.
    If I hated my country, and wanted it to become a third world country, I would agree with you.

  3. TWO PART ADDENDUM: TO ARTICLE XIV SECTION 1 OF THE U.S.CONSTITUTION

    PART ONE,
    Because of the continued disrespect for our laws LET IT BE that the U.S. Constitution, Article 14, Section 1, BE SO AMENDED THAT it be recognized that all illegal immigrants have 90 days to get out of the country by their own means. The first to leave will have the first right to come back. Illegal immigrants need to go to local American elected officials offices and register their names and date of leaving so as to set up invitation list to come back legally and understand that upon arrival back in their home country that individuals are to present themselves to their government to be recognized as returned and direct their government to send an official notice of this return to specific American officials office to be placed on file. All files will be forwarded to Immigration Department for proper processing . Elected officials must make note to anyone registered as having a ‘Jeopardized Citizenship Status.’ If persons of illegal immigration status are found to be in country after 90 days, they will be deported immediately and the rest of the family will follow as soon as possible and legal re-entry to America will be denied indefinitely.

    PART TWO,
    Be it made known that all persons entering hospitals for emergency attention shall never be denied care, even for the delivery or after the fact birth of a newborn, BUT HENCEFORTH because of the breaking of our laws by illegal immigration of people into the country, the 14th Article, Section 1. of the U.S. Constitution so stating that the automatic designation of bestowing citizenship upon a person just because s/he has been born in America IS SO AMENDED to take the position that any and all newborns be FOUND IN JEOPARDY OF CITIZENSHIP because of the direct connection with parent(s) of illegal citizenship status and thus as such all family members will be deported immediately. Person with a ‘Jeopardized Citizenship Status’ may come back to the United States of America at the age of 18 and request full citizenship status and be granted citizenship on six conditions, these being, 1. Must have birth certificate, 2. Must speak and write and understand English well, 3. Must not be on public assistance for more than 3 years, 4. Must become a working productive member of society, 5. Must not have a past criminal record nor acquire one while in America for first 13 years, and 6. Must fulfill all other immigration laws/testing/requirements as has been enacted previously.

    or IF IT IS the people's will, let them all stay BUT SPEAK ENGLISH ONLY, assimilate already, were tired of all the bi-lingual crap to accommodate you're being here and not assimilating already
