Why wouldn't the American people say: "If John Bush or John McCain is so much his own man and a maverick, why did he vote for the bloody illegal and useless war in Iraq that got my family mutilated?"
Fran and Ollie are appearing tonight in Michigan at a landfill turned music venue that was almost closed last week because the county is broke. Instead they get to add more unemployed to the record.
It was at precisely this moment, when Tom "Hey Look! A Rainbow!" Ridge rolled with the John Bush -- in a point specifically intended to remind us how much of his Own Man™ McCain is -- that I explosively decompressed in my Barack Obama Underoos. Sheer political perfection.
Again, I admit I was watching the history channel or something during McCain's speech. I gather it was more of the same, which is probably why some call him McSame. I truly believe this guy has been honestly sincere at some point, but has given himself up to the big rabid R machine. So sad.
Given that the average of age of the Republican Party is around 73, it's no wonder they have memory lapses, and tongue slips. At least they aren't falling asleep in mid-sentence. A heroic feat after listining to McCain speak.
