Sarah Palin: Foreign Policy Advisor

POSTED BY: Matthew Tobey

If you're concerned that John McCain is a little kooky on foreign policy and that he might try to nuke Spain or something, fear not. As he told NPR this morning, he gets foreign policy advice from Sarah Palin all the time...

On whether he can imagine turning to Governor Sarah Palin for advice on foreign policy: "I've turned to her advice many times in the past."

Many times in the past! You might be wondering what kind of foreign policy questions Senator McCain might ask Governor Palin and it just so happens I'm willing to speculate...

* If US forces are stretched to the limit in Iraq and Afghanistan and we suddenly face an immediate nuclear threat from Iran, which part of the wolf is best in a stew?

* With Kim Jong Il's health in question, what would it look and sound like if Tina Fey had played a character in Fargo who thought homosexuality was a choice?

* After so many of our international alliances have been weakened by the policies of the Bush administration, did cavemen use saddles when they rode dinosaurs?

LAST COMMENT:

This debate will be the epic battle between Palin's Northern values and Bidden's Southern Values. Bidden will from the tradition of southern democrats like Gore, Clinton, Carter, Johnson. He will be defending the southern traditions of economic regulation of monitoring the economy to prevent failure, while Palin will be defending the Northern belief inherited from Social Credit that if you give wall street money they will spend it. Bidden will be defending southern liberalism, in faith and women's rights, Palin why churches should be able to campaign and the strong Northern belief in family values, in being a good hockey mom of combating pre-maritial sex and teen pregnancy. Palin in expressing Social Credit values will demonstrate her being influenced by Canadian a Ideology and show she has traveled to foreign lands; she has seen Russia, and traveled to a country which as of 2009 will require a passport. She is a mavierick on world afarirs and an adviser to Sen. McCain; Bidden is only the chairman of the Senate Commitee on foreign relations.

Does John McCain Know Foreign Policy Better Than Barack Obama? How About Better Than Sarah Palin?

POSTED BY: Dennis DiClaudio

After John McCain's really, really bizarrely antagonistic comments about Spain yesterday, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow questions the conventional wisdom that Obama is the economy guy and McCain is the foreign policy guy...

You know, though, I think that maybe -- just maybe -- McCain knows something that we don't. I heard that he can see Spain from his backyard.

Well, one of them.
