Here She Comes, Miss American Hillary Clinton

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

Yesterday Hillary Clinton, fighting on after Tuesday's North Indiarolina primaries, made a stop at Sheperd University in West Virginia.

It was a tough moment for the New York senator, who lost North Carolina by a lot and won Indiana by very little. So maybe the politics thing just won't work out for her. At least she has a fallback option: the beauty pageant circuit...

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's greatest gift may be her ability to remain upright and smiling as chaos and chagrin surround her.

Astonishingly, Clinton managed to remain both upright and smiling -- she didn't fall down once! -- even when some members of the audience began yelling, catcalling and heckling her. Kaye Lani Rae Rafko would be so proud.

All the while, a smile was fixed on Mrs. Clinton's perfectly made-up face -- not a hair was out of place -- and she betrayed only an occasional glimmer of recognition of the exceedingly narrow straits she must now navigate.

Like the runway that leads to the swimsuit competition.

Hillary Clinton Ain't 'a Goin' Nowhere

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

Looking at the final math from last night, Hillary Clinton ended up winning Indiana 50.7% to 49.3% -- a lead of 1.4 points -- and lost North Carolina with 41.5% to Barack Obama's 56.2% -- 14.7 points. Needles to say, last night wasn't the night she was hoping for.

So, now what?

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is bracing for one of the most difficult days of her presidential race on Wednesday, anticipating new pressure to quit the race and facing a set of financial and logistical decisions that will determine just how robust a campaign she can continue to wage against Sen. Barack Obama, according to several advisers and political allies.

And that is only for starters, these people say: After her narrow win in the Indiana primary and steep loss in North Carolina, working off a few hours of sleep, Mrs. Clinton is also bound to think over a question in her own head and to hear it from at least some supporters -- should she continue running?

What does "should" have to do with anything?

Tell me why Florida and Michigan allowed to get away with this strange mess they pulled by carrying out caucases so early and why do everyone hate Hillary so. 1:13 - CNN is calling Indiana for Hillary Clinton. If they are correct, she's won by barely 2%, so the question is, was this enough to keep her in the race? Or more importantly, was this enough to convince HER that she should stay in the race?

It's been a blast, but we've got to go to bed.

Oh, and if you were wondering, the correct answer to the question we asked at 12:29 was "him."
