Tonkinize Me

The limits of the English language are woefully inadequate for the depth of wisdom contained within the mind of Rep. Rob Andrews. The New Jersey Democrat recently found himself needing to create a brand new word...

"Tonkinize."

As in "Gulf of Tonkinize," which is a verb that Andrews used to describe how the Bush administration is handling Iran's nuclear ambitions. The reference may be a little obscure for today's voters, but I'm sure that within days it will become a household word.

This is likely the greatest political neologism since Warren Harding blessed us with "normalcy" in 1920.

Oh wait, I forgot "misunderestimated." And everything contained within Indecision2008's Political Addictionary.
