Tim Russert on Saturday Night Live, Conan O'Brien

POSTED BY: CubbyChaser

I woke up this morning still thinking about the shocking, and untimely death of the man who first got me excited about politics with his white board back in 2000.  Tomorrow is Father's Day (it happens to be my first as a dad) and I know this will be difficult on his son and his father, especially after last year when he wrote that incredibly moving book to his dad.

So this morning I decided to cheer myself up by watching some of the absolutely brilliant Darrell Hammond impressions of Russert.  They were kind of difficult to find on their website, In fact, I could only find this one. Please post links if you can find more.

Make sure you tune into NBC tomorrow morning for Tom Brokaw's tribute to Russert on Meet the Press.

UPDATE: I've posted Conan O'Brien's touching tribute from last night below the fold.

LAST COMMENT:

I'm a little overwhelmed with this man after watching tributes to him all day. What a greatly loved individual by his work family and his real family. Great testimony to him.
