Indecision '08's Declaration of Principles

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

We, the editors of Indecision '08, will provide the people of this country -- and possibly other countries, if they do in fact exist -- with a website that will tell something approximating the electoral news with something approximating honesty.

We will also provide hastily-scribbled scat jokes, shameful punning and sophomoric Photoshopped images pertaining to the impending Presidential election, its candidates, and other elections that aren't too boring whenever possible.

We will provide a place where election enthusiasts can find the latest Indecision-related clips from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report and anything else that seems to fit pretty okay.

And no special interests will be allowed to interfere except for those of our advertisers, our bosses, our bosses' bosses and the secret cabal to which all media outlets must vow allegiance, with all praise to the all-seeing eye of Mithlror.

Furthermore, if you are willing and able to provide a loving home for a very sweet, somewhat-aggressive male Siamese cat who is not completely house-trained, please contact the editors of this website at your earliest convenience.

We hope that you enjoy a good portion of the everything that is to come between now and November 4th, 2008.

Sincerely,

Editors, Indecision '08

  1. Their is a film clip with McCain on stage and Bush and laura join him. McCain reaches out and shakes Bush's hand and then to shake Laura's hand but she walks right by him and McCain is left standing there with his hand in the air.

  2. It won't matter at all who the best candidate is if the majority of the American public is still as pitifully ignorant and easily misled as they demonstrated themselves to be in the last elections.(Yes I'm looking at you, Bush-voters)

If the public were astute enough to see past the manipulative political bullshit utilized by presidential candidates....we would not have a sociopathic, born-again Christian, trust-fund billionaire despot in the most powerful position of authority in the free world.

  3. We love Kucinich. The traditional Democratic base isn't stupid. They haven't been driven away from the polls because they are lazy or apathetic. They are painfully aware of the huge disconnect between Democratic Party rhetoric and the official behavior of many Democrats. They don't appreciate being lied to, and maybe they have grudging reasons to go to the polls just to vote against some Republican. Maybe they don't. The traditional Democratic base doesn't always turn up at the polls. They need more than transparent rhetoric. They require a real candidate who actually represents their interests.
    And they love Kucinich.

  5. Until Mithlror confirms the existence of Africa, I'm just not sure that a Paul/Gravel ticket is electable there. Huckabee might have a shot, tho?

  6. Praise be the great and mighty Mithlror,
A Paul/Gravel ticket would be my greatest wish.
They shall travel to D.C. and cause a rain of fire and brimstone (whats the fire without the brimstone). there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

  8. Give Kucinich as much airtime as you can. I support a Gore/Kucinich ticket. That man Kucinich has a lot to say. Kucinich speaks the truth and is trying to fix the country. Kucinich voted against the war from the beginning and tried to inform the rest of the Senate and Congress. Kucinich is the one that started the impeachment initiatives to remove Cheney and will do so with Bush if he starts war with Iran. How many times can I say Kucinich ... enough for you to at least look him up, read and listen to him so you can form your own opinions, instead of Mr. Kucinich being pushed to the side because he isn't a woman of ethnic background with pretty hair. Dennis Kucinich has inspired me to become more politically active. Gore/Kucinich 2008!

  9. If other countries really exist..........???
Well, you sure fed my paranoia with that comment. Maybe I don't live in Denmark ? Maybe Europe is just placed in a desert in Texas ? In that case I'm rather impressed with our winters :-)
